
Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Donald began playing rugby at the age of four. He developed through Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool and progressed into the Blue Bulls pathway before continuing his rugby at UP Tuks.
He continued his development within one of South Africa’s top systems, building his foundation as a prop through structured academy and university rugby. His time at UP Tuks helped shape his physical and technical ability in the front row.
He joined the Seattle Seawolves and has spent five seasons with the club. He has developed into a reliable front row option, providing depth and consistency within the forward pack.
Donald has been influenced by experienced props including Gurthro Steenkamp, Jaco Koch, and Jan Hendrik Hatting. Outside of rugby, he enjoys playing golf.
