Born in Windhoek, Namibia, Rossouw developed his rugby through Windhoek Gymnasium before moving into the Blue Bulls academy in South Africa. He progressed through one of the country’s top systems and earned opportunities at the provincial and professional level early in his career.
He began his professional career with the Bulls, earning Super Rugby experience and appearing across multiple seasons before moving to the Lions. He continued to compete at a high level in both Super Rugby and Currie Cup competitions and represented Namibia internationally, including at the Rugby World Cup.
He joined the Seattle Seawolves ahead of the 2024 season and made an immediate impact as a full-time starter. In his debut season, he played in 18 matches and finished second in the league in meters gained while helping the team reach the MLR Final. He followed that with another strong season in 2025, earning All-MLR First XV honors and being named the team’s Coaches’ Player of the Year.
Rossouw represents Namibia at the international level and credits his family as a key influence in his rugby journey. Outside of rugby, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and gaming.
